Wellness Nest (“we”, “us”) is operated by Dr. Priyanka, BNYS, from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We act as the Data Fiduciary for that data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

• Details you give us. Your name, email address, phone number and the message or health concern you choose to share when you submit a form or book a consultation.
• Health information. Any symptoms, medical history or reports you share with us in the course of seeking care. We treat this as confidential.
• Technical data. Basic, aggregated information about how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate region, device type. This is not used to identify you personally.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and schedule your consultation.
• To provide care, prepare your wellness plan and follow up on your progress.
• To send appointment confirmations and reminders relating to a booking you made.
• To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to the practice.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your health information for advertising.

Consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, book an appointment or engage us for care. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer provide care.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of established service providers to run this website and the practice. Each processes data only on our instructions:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Cal.com — appointment scheduling and reminders.
• Google — video consultations and clinic email.
• Sanity — storage of website content (no patient data).

Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where that happens, transfers are made in accordance with the DPDP Act.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are deleted within twelve months. Clinical records are retained for as long as is necessary to provide continuing care and to meet applicable professional record-keeping requirements, after which they are securely erased.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:

• confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and access it;
• correct or complete data that is inaccurate or out of date;
• erase data we no longer need;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

If you have a concern about how your data has been handled, write to Dr. Priyanka at drpriyanka1988a@gmail.com or call +91 88704 44898. We aim to respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
